Exploring the history of the Lamb and Eivins families, I find an ancestral tree laden with pioneers. These were hard working people, who, over generations migrated from Europe, to North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Kentucky and then to Ohio, Indiana and, finally, Iowa. With origins in England, Germany, and Northern Ireland, they were trail blazers who pushed westward on “roads” that were merely rutted wagon paths. No bridges existed to aid in crossing rivers. Journeying to then parts unknown and scarcely populated. Breaking ground to plant their crops, falling trees to build a house and warm the home.

The menu bar located in the upper right corner of each page contains links to the primary family pages. Each family page contains a brief introduction to the 1st generation -- the oldest in the line that I have been able to verify -- and includes an outline of the descendants. Text that appears in teal or aqua are hyperlinked to a webpage containing more information about that person or topic. Additionally, an index of individuals with hyperlinks to their webpages is accessible from the menu bar.
