Ben F. Clark was born June 22, 1877, on a farm near Anita. When a small child his parents moved to the Brayton vicinity, where he grew to manhood. He married Louisa Jones of Brayton on July 1, 1905. Later they moved to Orient, where he farmed until two years ago, when ill health forced him to quit.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Arthur of Orient, Garner of Minnesota; two daughters, Mrs. Clara Gilbertson and Mrs. Ruth Holmes, both of Orient, and one grandchild. He is also survived by one brother, George C. Clark of Creston, and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Bell and Mrs. Elsie Gustafson of Orient.
